FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) -- Police have arrested a suspected drug dealer after a variety of drugs, a .40 caliber handgun, and nearly $20,000 in cash were seized during a raid of his home.
Detectives forced their way into an apartment at 95 High Street in Fall River just before 9 a.m. Monday. A drug-sniffing dog was released, and as a result police were able to obtain 215 bags of heroin, different types of pills including subozone, clonazepam, and tizanidine.
Along with the drugs, police seized a .40 caliber handgun, two large-capacity feeding devices, 46 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition, drug paraphernalia, a cell phone, a safe, and $19,939 in cash.
Police arrested Manuel J. Pacheco, 38, and charged him with possession to distribute class A, B, C, and E drugs, possessing a large-capacity firearm in a felony, possession without a federal ID card, and two counts of possessing a large-capacity feeding device.
He's currently being held at the Fall River Police Department.
