Dolphins spotted in water in Fall River

FALL RIVER, MASS. (WPRI) -- A pod of dolphins has been spotted in th Taunton River in Fall River.

Several Eyewitness News viewers reported seeing the animals in the area of the Brightman Street Bridge at about 8 a.m. Sunday.  Spectators took photos of the pod and said that there were about half a dozen of them swimming and jumping out of the water between the new bridge and the old bridge.

The dolphins did not appear to be tangled in anything or otherwise in danger.
