FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) -- A broken water pipe flooded several stores in Fall River early Wednesday morning.

According to the sewer department, the pipe broke inside of the Radio Shack at the Fall River Shopping Center, causing a few inches of flooding.

The water spread to nearby stores DOTS clothing and GNC. City crews shut off the nearby main so workers could repair the pipe, and were able to turn it back on by 7 a.m.

Crews are working to clean up the damage, which we're told appears to be minor. Radio Shack hopes to re-open tomorrow morning.
