Firefighter injured in house fire

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) - A firefighter was injured Friday morning while battling a house fire in North Kingstown.

The fire broke out in the attic of the home on Hamilton Gate Court just after 8 a.m. Friday.

The home was not badly damaged, but a firefighter working on the roof was injured.

At last update, there was no word on his condition or what started the fire.
