PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI)- A federal probation violator was sentenced to sixty months in federal prison Thursday.

Eean Johnson, 32, was charged with two counts of drug charges and also for violating terms of his probation on a previous firearm conviction.

Johnson was arrested by Providence Police in November 2011 during a routine vehicle stop. Officers discovered a small odor of marijuana during the stop and discovered three large plastic bags of cocaine and $600 cash.

He was on supervised release at the time of his arrest.
