Swansea police investigate bank robbery

Man held up St. Anne's Credit Union Tuesday

SWANSEA, MASS. (WPRI) - A bank robbery in Swansea is under investigation.

Investigators told Eyewitness News, a man held up the St. Anne's Credit Union on Wilbur Ave. around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect handed the teller a note and took off with some cash.

No one was injured.

Police described the suspect as a 5 ft. 8 in., white male, wearing a navy blue jacket with a bright blue stripe across the chest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Swansea police.
