NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WPRI) - One of three suspects accused in a string of break-ins in Narragansett during Hurricane Sandy is being held at the ACI.
Matthew Andrade appeared in court Monday in connection with crimes.
The 24-year-old is due back in court in January.
Andrade and two other men, 18-year-old Mario Estrela and 20-year-old Joao Pacheco, are accused of breaking into nearly a dozen homes in the Scarborough Hills neighborhood.
Police say the homes were evacuated because of the storm.
Money, jewelry and electronics were stolen.
