Drug bust suspect to appear in court

David Lashus to be arraigned Tuesday

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - One of two men arrested during a drug bust in Johnston is scheduled to be arraigned.

David Lashus is due in court Tuesday.

The 49-year-old was arrested at a home on Plainfield St. Friday after undercover officers delivered a package containing 8 pounds of marijuana.

Inside the home, police found nearly 100 marijuana plants growing, six guns and nearly $8,000 in cash.

His son, 21-year-old Aaron Lashus was also arrested.
