CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) -- Central Falls Police are looking for the suspect accused of stabbing another man early Saturday morning.
Police tell Eyewitness News that officers responded to 3 Illinois Street around 3 a.m.. They found a man with several stab wounds to his abdomen and extremities, and he was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
The suspect is identified as 59 year-old Eduardo Calderon. A witness told police that Calderon and the victim had been arguing all day and that the witness walked in on a fight, finding the suspect stabbed. Calderon fled when the witness confronted him.
A warrant has been issued for Calderon's arrest and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Central Falls Police Department. Police say Calderon is homeless and uses several shelters around the state.
