R.I., Mass. gas prices drop a penny

(WPRI/AP) - Gas prices in Rhode Island and Massachusetts have dropped by a penny since last week, according to AAA New England.

The auto club's weekly survey puts the average self-serve, regular gas price in Rhode Island at $2.72 a gallon and in Massachusetts at $2.66. Prices last week were at $2.73 and $2.67, respectively.

The national average is $2.74 a gallon.
