Target 12 Investigators win Emmy Award

Honored for work on pensions and government waste

BOSTON, Mass. (WPRI) - Eyewitness News Target 12 Investigators won an Emmy Award Saturday night in Boston.

Target 12 received this prestigious award for a body of work they did in 2011 for a series of undercover investigations, including pensions and government waste.

They were competing against all major New England television stations as well as the Boston Globe.

Congratulations to the Target 12 investigative team.
