Latif Rivers scored 20 points and Mario Moody recorded a double-double to lead Wagner over Bryant 78-61 on Thursday night, extending the Seahawks' winning streak to a season-high six games.
Moody scored 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, Tyler Murray added 13 points and Marcus Burton had 10 points for the Seahawks (13-3, 4-1 Northeast Conference).
The Seahawks were never really threatened in this one, getting ahead early and leading 44-27 by halftime. Both teams scored 34 points in the second half, clinching it for Wagner.
Wagner outrebounded Bryant 46-32, and outscored them on second-chance points 21-6. Wagner's bench also outscored Bryant's 32-24.
Alex Francis recorded a double-double to lead the Bulldogs (2-14, 1-4), scoring 16 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Bryant is back in the loss column after a win in the Bulldogs' last contest snapped a 12-game losing slide.
