Cardi's Furniture teamed up with Cat Country 98.1 to bring actress, turned country singer, Jana Kramer to the Ocean State.

She performed live at a private acoustic show.

Jana Kramer began her career in television, and landed roles in hit TV series like One Tree Hill. But even after much success, she still wanted to follow her dreams.

"I grew up singing, but I kind of ended up falling into the entertainment side of things, because I thought it would be easier to hide behind a character instead of pursue what I really wanted to do, which was to be me and sing," admitted Kramer.

Some fans have followed Kramer from the TV screen to the radio.

"Listeners were so excited to meet Jana. Not only because they love the song, which we get a lot of requests for it, but a lot of people know her from her acting. She's been on One Tree Hill and Grey's Anatomy, and has done a lot of guest starring roles. They're excited to not only meet her for that, but, because they love the song," said Jessica Tyler of Cat Country 98.1.

It took some dedicated fans to win the concert tickets.

"Last week we heard she was going to be here. We woke up every day at 6 a.m. trying to win these passes. Then, we eventually got in, and were like- yes! Finally, we get to meet Jana again. We're here, it was a great event. I just loved it," said Shaini Hughes, a fan.

Music is Jana's true passion, and she makes sure to express that in her songs.

"We wanted it to be more of a Deana Carter, back in the 90s kind of country feel. Every song is real, it's authentic, I've lived it. Whether I've written it, or didn't write it, I've had to of lived it or felt it," said Kramer.

Most importantly, Jana just wants to enjoy the ride.

"I don't just want to release a few songs, then disappear. I want it to be a life-long career. By releasing music and sharing my music with the world."
