Gold's Gym demonstrates kettlebell activities

(FOX Providence) - According to celebrity fitness trainers, kettlebells are one of the top tools used to achieve a great workout.

Originally from Russia, weighted kettles can be lifted and swung through movements that work your entire body. During a workout, heart rates can get up to 150 to 160 beats per minute just be combining kettelbells and plyometrics in full-body moves.

Kettlebells are a great option for those wanting to get a lean, toned look.

Fitness spokesperson for Women’s Health magazine Amy Dixon agrees, "Kettlebells are one of the most difficult workouts to do because they involve the entire body to do the work, therefore it burns a lot of calories due to the metabolic demand. It mixes stabilization exercises, momentum and just plain strength."
