Pumpkin painter makes Rhode Show gourds

(FOX Providence) - The seasonal weather we've been having is a great example of what to love about the fall.

Dave Frerichs from Frerichs Farm joined The Rhode Show to help get us in the season.

Also, master pumpkin painter Richard Kaiser shared his talent by producing portraits of The Rhode Show team on the seasonal gourds.

The Pumpkin Weigh-off is October 10th and we've kept an eye on how those giant pumpkins were coming along. In September, we toured the farms of those growing the giant pumpkins to compete in the annual SNGPG Annual Pumpkin Weigh-off. Look at the photos of their giant gourds which can easily gain 30 lbs. in one day!
