Official Rules and Regulations:
Contest Starts: Thursday, February 18, 2010
Contest Ends: Wednesday, May 13, 2010

1. No purchase necessary.

2. To enter, upload a video with your band or act performing an original song by logging onto foxprovidence.com. Please include your NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE and AGE. Entrants must be 18 or over. All entries must be received by March 25, 2010.

The top entries will be picked by Rhode Show Producers after March 25. Beginning on March 29, 2010- the top bands will be featured on The Rhode Show. Viewers can then vote online for their favorites at foxproivdence.com.

During the first two weeks of May, the five entrants who received the most votes online will be profiled on The Rhode Show. Viewers can then vote online at foxprovidence.com for the Top 5 finalists. The Winner will be announced on The Rhode Show on May 13, 2010.

Video shoot for winning band’s video at G-Media will take place (126 Union St. Providence, RI 02903) on Monday 5/17/10 at 8:00 am (will end at 3pm).

3. No entries containing or based on any existing music will be accepted. All lyrics and music must be original.

4. No responsibility is assumed for problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any e-mail entry to be received by WPRI/WNAC because of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, as well as lost, misdirected, illegible or late entries or mail.

5. Entrant is responsible for all on-line charges.

6. Prizes, subject to certain restrictions and availability, will be awarded as stated below.

7. Prizes includes: One professionally produced music video provided by Cardi’s Furniture Superstore to be aired during the American Idol finale on Fox Providence and one live performance at Twin River on June 10, 2010 at the Lighthouse Bar.

8. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

9. Prizes have no cash equivalent.

10. All rights reserved.

11. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

12. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner. All Federal, State and Local Taxes apply.

13. Prize winners will be contacted by WPRI 12 & WNAC FOX Providence.

14. Entries must contain all original lyrics and music.

15. Prize winners will be obligated to sign and return an indemnification release. By entering this contest, each entrant forever discharges and releases the sponsors and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, suits and demands of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest.

16. Winner consents to use his/her name and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation except where prohibited by law. By entering this promotion, the winner(s) acknowledge that WNAC Fox Providence, and all other sponsors and venues have the right to publicize and broadcast his/her/their name, voice, and likeness, the fact that he/she/they won, and all other matters incidental thereto.

17. In the event of non-compliance, alternative winners may be selected.

18. Winners will be notified by mail or by phone.

19. WPRI/WNAC reserves the right to amend or change at any time any rule or regulation during the contest period and will announce these amended changes on WPRI/WNAC.

20. Only one entry per person please.

21. The last day of for all bands to enter is March 25, 2010. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST on March 25, 2010.

22. WPRI/WNAC assumes no liability for health conditions, accidents or illness resulting from prize use.

23. Employees and their families of LIN Television Corporation, FOX, CBS, WPRI 12, WNAC FOX Providence, Cardi’s Furniture Superstore, Twin River, Cox and their advertising agencies are not eligible.
