A song should speak for itself, so I will not try to force feed you the meaning of "Awful Things". All I will say is that "Awful Things" is my way of understanding the personal feeling that I live in a world where human beings seem to embrace technology more than they embrace other human beings. I hope that listening makes you feel something, too.
