Cardi's, Boston Blazers team up for fun

(FOX Providence) - It’s a sport that is growing rapidly all over the country, and we in Southern New England have our own Professional Indoor Lacrosse Team: The Boston Blazers.

Jon "Bubba" Durno and Nick Cotter from The Blazers, and NiRoPe, joined The Rhode Show to talk more about the Cardi’s Furniture & Boston Blazers relationship.

"It's the second year Cardi’s has partnered with Boston Blazers along with Radio 92.9 FM. It's a fun, fast moving sport, played at the TD Garden in Boston. Great sport for all ages. It's sort of like hockey without ice," explained Nick Cardi.

Lacrosse can actually be played both indoors and outdoors.

"When The Blazers play in Boston, they kick off the game right. Between the lights, a heart-pumping, adrenaline rush video intro of the team, music during the game, it really keeps the energy going. It's a ton of fun, not to mention the Cardi's Best Seat in the House. Two lucky fans watch the game from a plush-leather loveseat. It’s elevated and gives you an awesome view," said Ron Cardi.

For The Blazers, playing in Boston has been, "Fun, lots of energy. It's a great team. We have awesome fans."

"Going to the game is a fun event that a family can do on a Saturday night without breaking the bank.

Family Night will be held March 13th at home, where the Blazers will take on Buffalo. This is a 2 for 1 deal , where a family of four can get in for under $30!!
