Shawn Tempesta's show highlights of '09

Of course we know being a part of The Rhode show is a real job, but it's no easy task!

But, with that being said, we've had some serious fun this year with our current co-host Shawn Tempesta.

"Getting to become co-host of The Rhode Show for a year was an incredible experience. And it all started with pole dancing," said Shawn.

From there Shawn covered a ton of other things that required less skin, like covering the American Idol auditions and rubbing elbows with Ryan Seacrest.

He interview the judges from So You Think You Can Dance, fought a half pint brawler, kissed an elephant, became Elton John, interviewed the cast of the hit FOX show Glee, he went behind the scenes of Wheel of Fortune and Deal or No Deal.

Shawn also got punched in the face by Martin Short, he's traveled to all the Dunkin' Donuts in Providence, and has eaten something from almost every restaurant in the state, saved Ernest Borgnine from a fly, and even learned how to swing dance.

"Honestly in less than a year's time, I've been given the opportunity to do some incredible things, and whoever wins this competition will be able to experience even more," said Shawn.
