(FOX Providence) - If you have ever wanted to escape from the persistent pressures of daily life, taking a daily yoga class leaves you feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the tasks of the day.

Santosha Yoga studio is an escape from reality. Their mission is to teach the true meaning of yoga union.

The benefits from yoga they say are endless. People want to work on different things, and they get the opportunity to work at all levels of ability.

Yoga not only increases strength and flexibility, but also benefits personal growth.

Co owner of Santosha Yoga Studio, Melissa Walsh, explains “The real benefits are in the personal growth of transformation and really connecting to the self and finding peace and relaxation and carrying that out into the world.”

The studio offers a special class called Yofa Nidira which means yoga sleep. Here practitioners concentrate on their intentions.

Co owner, Heather Michelle Eilering said, “An intention is accomplished in the moment, in the positive, and you can feel the benefits of it the moment you bring it into your awareness.”

Yoga provides an escape from the pressures of daily life, and leaves the practitioner with a refreshed outlook.
