(FOX Providence) - We're putting the spotlight on local talent. This past summer two RISD students spent their time in Rwanda with a unique program that teaches women there how to make jewelry designs.
The company is called Keza, which means "beautiful" in their native tongue, Kinyarwanda. The company teaches woman how to make jewelry inspired by the artisans. They are then able to develop businesses in Africa, giving them something they can believe in and own.
