Rhode Island Rocks

We're making a delightful candy mix called Rhode Island Rocks in The Rhode Show kitchen with brother and sister duo Tom Asprinio and Lucia Asprinio.

Ingredients:
Milk chocolate
Peanuts
Pretzels
Raisins

Steps:
Break up pretzels.
Melt milk chocolate
Measure out peanuts, pretzels and raisins and mix together
Spoon by hand on to wax paper to cool.

Tip: Best not to refrigerate or freeze chocolate, keep in a cool environment , an air conditioned room is fine.

Chef Information: Tom Asprinio and Lucia Asprinio, brother and sister, we both have a passion for food, I think it’s an Italian thing, we get competitive too! Both of us have jewelry backgrounds, but recently Tom was in the mortgage business and Lucia was Product Manager for a custom invitation company. We both became unemployed and decided to produce and sell our mother’s candy. She made it as long as we can remember and then we started to make it for friends, always telling us that we should sell it…and here we are!
