Catch a Rising Star comic shares laughs

(FOX Providence) - Thursday night is the unofficial start of the weekend. And a great way to get your weekend started is always with a good laugh.

If you love a good show, you can "Catch a Rising Star" at Twin River, where the talent of the nation's up and coming comedians is showcased.

Jason Marcus, who will be performing on Thursday, November 12 at Twin River, joined The Rhode Show to talk about what it's like being the winner of Catch a Rising Star's contest this year, and what made him get into comedy.

Jason has been named Named Best of the East Coast by the Detroit International Comedy Festival.
