TJ wins Idol sing-off, Shawn gets pied

(FOX Providence) - The winner of the 1st ever American Idol Sing-Off on The Rhode Show is Eyewitness News Meteorologist TJ Del Santo! While TJ gets glory rights, Shawn got a pie in the face!

TJ and Rhode Show co-host Shawn Tempesta chose their picks on who should go week after week throughout this season’s American Idol. The result? A dead heat. 15-to-15.

So, it was a sing-off that determined who would be victorious! The winner will now get the glory, as well as a pie to throw in the losers face.
