(FOX Providence) - Ever wonder whether that link you want to share with friends is still in its prime or if you're just the last to know about it?
A new website called, www.isitold.com - is here to save you from sharing embarrassingly old content online.
The site then analyzes how many times a link has been posted on Twitter, and how far back it was first shared.
The service will then give your link one of ten ratings from "dead" to "you're almost first" or even "mad fresh."
Although the site can help you determine how long a link has been around, it doesn't necessarily mean the newer the link, the better.
For example, popular websites like www.foxprovidence.com, got a "ridiculously old" designations.
Whereas new homemade YouTube videos got more pleasant descriptions such as "super fresh!"
