(FOX Providence) - A musician from Southeastern Massachusetts is hitting the local stage to perform before going on a national music tour, and he stopped by The Rhode Show for a special sneak-peak performance.
Shaun Hague just released his debut album, "The Time is Now", and he tells us he raised $7,000 to record it on his own, by using kickstartit.com.
"I've been playing for the people for so long and everybody always asks me, 'What is your own stuff?', 'What is your own CD?'. So I finally decided 2011, that's why I called it 'The time is Now.'
Shaun has performed for other well-known artists, such as John Wait. But he says he's happy to have a chance to perform on his own, with his own music.
He has received major entertainment praise. He won the title 'Best Young Blues Guitarist' at just age 17 and has even performed on Jay Leno!
Shaun Hague will be performing live at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River on Friday night. Click here for ticket information.
