Custom cocktails for your wedding

Wedding Cocktail Design shares 3 unique recipes

(FOX Providence) - It wouldn't be a celebration without some cocktails. Jonathan Pogash from Wedding Cocktail Design shares three of his recipes for custom wedding cocktails. 

You can catch Jonathan at the Southern New England Bridal Expo this Sunday at the Rhode Island Convention Center in the Wine and Spirits Pavillion.  

Ginger-Pomegranate Sparkler

1/2 oz. Chambord liqueur

3/4 oz. Pomegranate juice

1/4 tsp. finely minced ginger

3 oz. sparkling wine

Directions: Shake in a cocktail shaker the first 3 ingredients, then strain into a chilled champagne flute. Top with the sparkling wine.

Garnish: candied ginger slice

New England Wedding Punch (serves 8-10)

1 1/2 cups Bols Genever (original Dutch style Gin)

1/2 cup Ginger liqueur

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

1 cup apple cider

1/4 cup maple syrup

Directions: Combine ingredients into a large punch bowl. Add block ice when ready to serve and stir to dilute and chill.

Garnish: several cranberries and lemon wheels

Wedding Bliss Mojito

1 1/2 oz. Rhum Clement Creole Shrubb

1/4 oz. Chambord liqueur

3/4 oz. fresh white grapefruit juice

agave nectar to taste

10 mint leaves

Directions: Shake all ingredients very well in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.

Garnish: mint sprig and grapefruit twist
