Festival offers great music & big names

The David Wax Museum joined the Rhode Show

    (FOX Providence) - There will be plenty to do this weekend at the annual Newport Folk Festival.

    This year mark's the 51st year for the folk festival. Some big acts are expected to perform this year. On Friday night, you can catch actor Steve Martin as he kicks off the festival.

    Jay Sweet, one of the shows producers joined the Rhode Show to talk about this year's events and activities.

    The David Wax Museum also joined the Rhode Show to share of their favorite tunes. They are one of the bands performing at this year's festival.
