Project that unites New England female vocalists

(FOX Providence) - A unique new music series Chanteuse provides opportunity for collaboration among female vocalists in New England.

Chanteuse was created by Jess Powers, who hopes to unites female vocalists from different genres.

Powers came up with the idea because she wanted a chance to collaborate with vocalists throughout the New England area.

Chanteuse is having a show on Saturday, June 4 at Firehouse 13 in Providence.

Doors open at 8:00 p.m., and the show begins at 8:30 p.m.
