LaSalette Shrine still shines bright

163 years ago, something biblical happened in the French Alps that eventually found its way to Attleboro, Massachusetts.

If you're a Roman Catholic, then you believe that the blessed mother made herself known to two Shepard children. Years later, the Festival of Lights would convey the blessed mother's message of reconciliation.

The extravaganza of lights illuminate at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving night, and will shine brightly until New Year's Day.

Parking and admission is free, but Our Lady of La Salette depends heavily on your donations to keep the shrine operational.
