We're making Krabby Kakes in the kitchen with Buster Krabs for The Rhode Show's beach party-themed show.
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 4 minutes
Ingredients:
3 cups Panko Bread Crumbs
1 cup Celery, diced fine
1 cup Onion, diced fine
1 oz Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Old Bay Tarter
2 lb Jumbo Lump Crab Meat
4 dashes Tabasco
1 whole lemon, juiced
1 tsp parsley
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cayenne
2 oz Dijon Mustard
1 tsp Colemans Dry Mustard
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup Mayo
Steps:
Saute Celery, Onions, Olive Oil and Old Bay seasoning. Cool Mixture.
Once Mixture is cooled, add remaining ingredients gently mixing until combined.
Form 2 ¼ oz pattys with mixture.
Place Krab Kakes in a heated and buttered sauté pan, cook till golden brown on both sides.
To make Cajun Remoulade
In a Blender Mix:
4 oz Sliced Pickled Jalapenos
2 oz Capers
1 lemon, juiced
2 cloves Garlic
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Steps:
Empty into bowl.
Whisk in 4 cups Mayonnaise.
