Family fun time at Roger Williams Zoo

(FOX Providence) - With the weather finally warming up there are so many great family events going on at Roger Williams Park Zoo .

The Rhode Show has zoo cam that you can watch live on foxprovidence.com, where any time of day or night you can check in on the giraffes.

Jill Austin and Jen Rudolph, from the zoo , joined The Rhode Show to talk about some upcoming events.

Upcoming events at Roger Williams Park Zoo:

Visit with the Easter Bunny - - -Fri. 4/2 1:30pm – 3pm & Sat. 4/3 10am – 11:30am; 1:30pm – 3pm

A personal meet & greet and photo with the Easter Bunny
Decorate your own cookie and Easter basket activities
Pre-registration event; no tickets can be purchased day of event. This is a Group Sales event.

Egg Hunt Safari April 3 11am -3:30pm
Hunt for hidden eggs throughout the entire Zoo!  Please Note: - We recommend you bring a bag or basket to collect the eggs; they will not be provided.-To ensure we have enough eggs for everyone, each child is limited to collecting up to 5 eggs
Bring your eggs to the egg redemption station for a prize. (Find a golden egg and get an "egg-stra" special prize!)

Find one of 17 special "dinosaur eggs" and win a Family 4 pack to the Opening Night of Walking with the Dinosaurs at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Wednesday June, 23 at 7pm!
Get up close and personal with one of our education animals, with animal encounters throughout the day.

Summer Zoo Camps
Camps for ages 4 – 17 (Tadpole Academy, Summer Adventures, Natural Navigators and Ed-venturous Travels.
Summer Adventures is now made up of three different themed sessions over the course of the summer. Assuring that repeat campers have a different experience during each session of the summer.
