'Biggest Loser' finalist from RI

LOS ANGELES (FOX Providence) - A man from Little Rhody could soon be crowned the next "Biggest Loser" champion. Thirty-one year old Rudy Pauls will step onto the big Hollywood scale Tuesday night for " The Biggest Loser's " season finale.

Rudy was raised in Little Compton and is an engineer at a power station in Johnston.

Rudy tipped the scales at 442 pounds when the season kicked off mid-September, making him the heaviest guy on the show. As of last week, he weighed in at 252 pounds. He lost a whopping 189 pounds!

He could take home the grand prize of $250,000, and of course, the title.
