Plane makes belly landing at T.F. Green

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - A plane that had trouble with its landing gear made a belly landing at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick.

According to airport spokeswoman Patti Goldstein, the small private plane was trying to land just before 9 p.m. Thursday.

Officials say the plane was able to land safely and suffered only minor damage. No one was injured, and the incident did not disrupt commercial air traffic.
