Charlestown, RI (WPRI) - Two men are caught red handed in the middle of a robbery, now police are investigating to determine if they are responsible for a South County crime spree. Charlestown Police caught 21-year-old Adam Davis and 18-year-old Joseph McBride early Friday morning at a Cedar Road home.
Police say Davis was sitting in a car outside the home. He was arrested at the scene. McBride took off on foot and is still on the run. Officials believe he hit a vacant home alone in Richmond after Davis was taken into custody. Davis is being held without bail on a probation violation.
Police are now investigating to determine if the two men are the same suspects wanted in connection with other robberies in Charlestown, Richmond, Narragansett, and South Kingstown.
