EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - This weekend a new show will begin airing on myRITV called "Executive Suite" with WPRI.com reporter Ted Nesi.
The show talks to local business leaders about their successes and the challenges they face in a tough economy.
Ted’s first guest for the debut of the show “Executive Suite” is Deepwater Wind Chief Administrative officer Jeffrey Grybowski.
Rhode Island picked Deepwater in 2008 to build two large wind farms off Rhode Island's coast. The first, off Block Island, is on track to be up and running in 2014.
He told us the concept of the show is to be able to feature the many business leaders and companies that have such a big impact on the lives of so many Rhode Islanders.
Nesi said the idea for "Executive Suite" came from discussions at WPRI-12 about Rhode Island's economy, which has lagged the nation's in recent years. He said he's already heard from other local business leaders interested in coming on the show and has high hopes for it.
He told The Rhode Show that there are no shortages of business leaders in Rhode Island that can and will be on the show. “Executive Suite” hit the airwaves this Sunday night at 6 p.m. on myRITV.
