This week on the first half Executive Suite: Richard Scibelli, chairman and CEO of Yardney Technical Products.
Scibelli's 68-year-old company builds batteries, including the ones that powered the new Mars rover Curiosity. He discusses Yardney's technical expertise and contributions to the project. Scibelli is now in the process of moving Yardney from Connecticut to Rhode Island, explains why he's making the move and how the EDC helped.
On the second half: Laurie White, president of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce, discusses her hope that Rhode Island can create its own version of the Cambridge Innovation Center .
