LOS ANGELES (TMZ) - In today’s TMZ update , a certified audio expert who has analyzed the purported recordings of Britney Spears speaking to Jason Alexander about her boyfriend Jason Trawick beating her, tells TMZ he believes the female voice is not Britney.
Arlo West, who is a certified forensic audio expert, tells us, "In my opinion, it's not her voice in the recording."
West, who compared the recordings with a half dozen interviews Britney has done over the years, says "Listening to the phonetics, it doesn't appear to be authentic," adding, "the mannerisms in her voice just don't match up."
Plus... Tom Brady may be getting a new linebacker -- a hairline backer.
The folks from Rogaine tell TMZ they're more than happy to offer the reportedly follically-challenged QB a 3-month supply of the product.
Rogaine's PR people offer this sage advice to Tom: "He shouldn't just try and grow his hair to cover that bald spot...he should try and regrow the HAIR that belongs there!"
The company wants to send Tom a free, 3-month supply of Hair Regrowth Foam -- the unscented, so he doesn't get bullied by his teammates.
On the bright side, Tom, it's another way to stay topical.
And finally, Christina Aguilera is the best thing that ever happened to her new boyfriend's band -- and they know it -- because they quickly plastered her name all over their website in an apparent effort to gain exposure.
Right after the news broke that Matt Rutler was getting all cozy with Christina -- the guys from the Nate Mott Band posted Xtina's name and Matt's name all over the "Tags" section of their homepage -- hoping to increase the likelihood that anyone doing a Google search for those two will find their band's website.
But, it seems somebody wasn't happy with the coattail riding ... because the Christina-related tags have since been removed from the website.
