Sunday's Eye on RI: 9/27

(FOX Providence) - The 4th Annual Newport Mansion's Wine and Food Festival is happening this weekend.

This weekend experience features hundreds of wines from around the world, food samples from nearly two dozen restaurants, cooking demonstrations by celebrated chefs, live and silent auctions, and a gala celebration.

The Firstworks Festival is back this weekend. And the seven week festival celebrates: icons of music and the moving image, revolutionary cirque theater, digital arts, and more.

And, the remake of that classic 80s movie Fame is now out in theaters. The stars say the new musical stays true to the heart of the original story.

And this one is a little more family-friendly. It's rated PG-13. The 1980-version was rated R.
