PROVIDENCE, R.I. (FOX Providence) - Connect Providence's February love letter to the city, by celebrating at the 'I Heart Providence' event held at City Hall.

The second annual 'I Heart Providence' event is taking place Thursday, February 11 and organizer Mike Ritz joined The Rhode Show to share details on the event.

In partnership with One Financial Plaza (Providence's second tallest building, aka the Hospital Trust Building), local artist Carla Ricci will brighten the Providence skyline by arranging lights from the building's windows to create an oversized heart from the 17th-22nd floor. Your beacon to the party.

After party will take place from 8:30pm until ? at Aspire Restaurant.
