Michaela Johnson Bio

I live with my parents and three sisters in East Providence, RI. I am extremely close to my family and enjoy spending time with them whether it’s watching New England sports teams or playing board games.

I am a recent graduate of Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA where I majored in Communication Studies and minored in Art. While there I played four years on the women’s basketball team. I’ve never experienced anything quite like teamwork.

I love movies, music, working out, and being creative. Family, friends, and sports have always kept me grounded and taught me many lessons in life.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?
On one of my first days as a freshman in high school I slipped in a puddle of soda while everyone was in the hallway going to class. I tried to find something to hold on to, but instead I fell to the floor.

What was your first or most unusual job?
My first job was in high school at an indoor roller skating rink. I served concessions to hundreds of kids.

Do you have any pets?
Yes, a dog named Toto.

If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy?
After paying off loans, bills, etc. …a plane ticket! I love to travel.

If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
Driven

Christmas because there’s something so magical about that time of the year when your family is together.
