Meteorologist Michelle Muscatello joined Eyewitness News in September of 2004.  Michelle can be seen delivering local forecasts weekends on Eyewitness News This Morning, Saturdays from 6-8am and Sundays from 7-9am.  Michelle's forecasts can also be seen on the 24-hour Pinpoint Weather Station on WNAC-DT and Digital Cable Ch. 106.

Like many weather enthusiasts, Michelle is passionate about the weather and has a great respect for Mother Nature.  She has covered blizzards, hurricanes, tornadoes, nor'easters, cold spells, heat waves and everything in between.  When she's not watching the weather or tracking a storm, Michelle can be found traveling around southern New England speaking at area schools and organizations about the weather.

Michelle is an associate member of the American Meteorological Society and a member of the National Weather Association.    She earned a degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Certification in Meteorology from Mississippi State University.

In addition to her weather duties, Michelle is a weather and feature reporter for Eyewitness News.

Michelle came to WPRI/WNAC-TV from WCIV-TV in Charleston, South Carolina where she forecasted the weather for the weekend broadcasts.  While in South Carolina, she covered Hurricane Gaston's direct hit to the area, along with the tornadoes, severe thunderstorms and flooding spawned by Hurricanes Charley and Frances.

Michelle was born and raised in Butler, Pennsylvania.  She loves the outdoors and, in her free time, enjoys running, riding her bike and boating on Narragansett Bay.  When the snow starts falling, she hits the ski slopes.  Michelle is married to Eyewitness Sportscaster Pete Lucas. They live on the East Bay with their rescued Golden Retriever/Border Collie Mix, Libby.
